The Health Services Director leads, mentors, and provides daily supervision to our clinical staff in accordance with our mission. S/he ensures the delivery of nursing care that supports the emotional as well as the physical well-being of residents. The Health Services Director maintains compliance with all federal and state regulatory requirements and ensures that health care service meets and exceeds State standards for excellence and quality.  As department leader, s/he establishes the overall direction and focuses for the Residential Care team, maintains successful relationships with resident families and physicians, and provides staff with daily guidance and supervision. The Resident Care Assistant (RCA) participates as a key member of the health care team implementing care delivery systems in a manner that maintain a nurturing environment that supports the health and independence of the residents. The Residential Care Assistant uses primary care assignments to provide resident—centered care to support the resident’s activities of daily living.  Residential Care Assistants use their care-giving skills to ensure the physical and cognitive wellbeing of residents, as well as their emotional and social wellbeing.  In addition, they provide support and information to families/others where appropriate.

The Administrative Assistant serves as the welcoming representative of Eastview at Middlebury. S/he is responsible for all front desk functions including processing calls; receiving guests and visitors; providing assistance and information relevant to the community; overseeing reservations for programs, transportation, and dining; processing mail; ordering supplies; and providing general office assistance including Word and Excel documentation.

The Director of Dining Services supports the Eastview at Middlebury dining philosophy by managing the daily operations of a fine restaurant quality kitchen, in full compliance with State and Federal regulatory guidelines.  The Director of Dining Services oversees the preparation and delivery of all food /beverages at Eastview. Operations include the production and delivery of creative, high quality, and appealing menu selections and therapeutic meal programs. S/he will supervise kitchen and service staff in the planning, preparation, and delivery of meals in the main dining room, health center, and for all special functions.

SERVERS (Part-Time)
Our dining team provides residents with a fine dining experience and full table service in a dynamic retirement community.  With a manageable schedule and superb kitchen facilities, we offer a work environment that is hard to find in the hospitality industry. These positions will be primarily during the evenings and applicants must be willing to work weekends and some holidays.
